Story Line: Thomas (Dylan O'Brien), a teenager, arrives in a glade at the center of a giant labyrinth. Like the other youths dumped there before him, he has no memory of his previous life. Thomas quickly becomes part of the group and soon after demonstrates a unique perspective that scores him a promotion to Runner status -- those who patrol the always-changing maze to find an escape route. Together with Teresa (Kaya Scodelario), the only female, Thomas tries to convince his cohorts that he knows a way out.

To be honest, I think this movie is one a few that define the film industry of the 21st centruy. People will look back upon these times and think "Wow these guys sure do love mazes" or "why didn't they just built a ladder over the maze" or " what an aMAZEing film"(I thought of that pun myself).

This movie creates an archaic conception of the real world in a dystopian land. It's about a guy. Who runs through mazes (hence the name maze runner). Like this idea has never been done before. Because nobody wanted to. The production can save money on the cheap cast with garunteed box office results making this film a solid 5/5.

Overall the movie was very exciting as many mazes were run pushing you to the very edge of your seat. And as he reaches the end of the maze you will think "will he run through the maze or will he get lost" and when he does get out, you might just fall straight off your seat!
